Free shipping on orders over $50. Which almost everyone gets.

Shipping Information

Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to arrive. Most orders will be processed and sent to our vendors within 2 business days. Orders ship directly via FedEx Ground in 4-6 business days, arriving within 7-10 business days from the time the order was placed. Larger shipments may need to be sent using LTL freight and will take an additional 1-2 weeks for delivery. Once a shipment has been sent out from one of the warehouses, customers will receive an email with a link to the tracking information.

Many of our products are shipped directly from our vendors and manufacturers, which means that we are sometimes unaware of recent stock adjustments that may cause a delay with certain products. We will alert you of any delays, if they occur, as we become aware of them.

Most items are shipped for free for orders over $50; smaller items that are priced too low to cover any of the shipping cost have a reasonable shipping charge.

You can check the status of your order by logging into My Account and viewing your completed orders.

Currently we only ship to the contiguous 48 United States. Alaskan shipments can be arranged on a per order basis.

Returns

Returns Policy

At The Green State Gardener we make returns easy. You can submit a return request by logging in to My Account and navigating to Completed Orders and clicking on the Return Item(s) button. Another option is to contact us by phone at 1-888-228-5095, either speaking with us directly, or leaving a voicemail message. Finally, you can e-mail us at help@greenstategardener.com. Please include a full description of why you are returning your order, and what items you are returning. Please note that all returns need prior approval.


Unopened Items - You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.  

 

Opened Items - Depending upon condition, some opened products may be eligible for return within 30 days after the purchase date on your invoice. There may be a restocking fee depending on the type of product and condition due to the fact that we cannot resell returned products as new items. Please contact us to find out if your product is returnable with a restocking fee. Products that we cannot accept for returns if opened: Grow Tents, Grow Lights & Bulbs, Liquids, Powders, Soils, CO2 Bags and Extraction Equipment.

 

Note: If your item arrived undamaged and working properly, but you need to return it for any other reason such as realizing that you do not need it, we do ask that you pay the return shipping on the item.

 

If your product arrives damaged or in non-working condition - We will refund the purchase price and cover the cost of the returned shipment if products are damaged or defective. We ask that you inform us a damaged or defective item within 7 days of receiving it so that we may follow up with the shipping company. We will probably need you to provide a photo of the broken or damaged product. Whatever the situation, we are committed to resolving it for you in a timely manner.

 

If your product breaks after use – Don’t worry, the product is most likely covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will need to have the item returned to us and then we can contact the manufacturer about the product repair or replacement. We will facilitate the process if the issue happened recently after you bought it from us. After 30 days we request that you deal with the manufacturer directly. If your product fails in the remainder of the warranty period, the manufacturers warranty policy will prevail.
